Allison Neukirchen
Massage Therapy
Hi, I’m Allison.
I am originally from the greater Seattle area. In 2023 my husband and I decided that it was time to leave the Pacific Northwest and move to the Midwest. My Mom’s family is from Iowa, so I spent a great amount of time in this region when I was young. We found Sioux Falls and Garretson and fell in love with everything about the area. We are so excited to raise our family here and continue to be involved in this amazing community.
I found massage therapy on a winding path that I never expected to go down. I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in Medicine, and I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences at the University of Washington. I became certified as an EMT in 2013 and pursued that career for a time, but I knew that it was not for forever. After my amazing mother was recovering from surgery I discovered the power of massage therapy as a healing tool. I became hooked and have never looked back.
I have been licensed in massage therapy since 2016. I practiced in the Greater Seattle Area for approximately 8 years before we moved to the Great State of South Dakota. Since I was an EMT before I studied massage therapy my interest has always been in the medical styles of massage. After finishing my Massage Program through Bastyr University and Bellevue Massage School I began Pursuing Continuing Education in a wide range of modalities. I have taken courses and certifications in the following:
Deep Tissue Massage
Myotherapy
Medical Massage- Basic and Advanced
Sports Massage- Basic and Advanced
Intra Oral Massage
Prenatal Massage – Basic and Advanced
Post Partum Massage
Breast Massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage- Basic and Advanced

Needless to say, that I have taken many classes in the last 8 or 9 years. Frankly most people do not know what some of the above-mentioned styles of massage are. You do not need to know the specifics of every style, but you should know this. I have learned a great deal, and the chances are that one of these styles should be able to accomplish your goal in seeking out massage therapy.
As a result of all my education, I offer a style of massage I call therapeutic. I will not limit you to a specific style or type of massage when you get on my table. I will use all of my knowledge to help you to the best of my ability. I am still taking more classes, reading journals and articles and growing as a massage therapist and I plan to keep growing throughout the rest of my life.
Massage Therapy and helping people break patterns of pain and live their best life is my calling. If you entrust me with your care, I will not disappoint you.
